Parallels Access Update: New iOS7 Design, Economical Subscriptions & Windows Support

Parallels Access recently brought major update for its iPad app. This update include ability to access desktop windows computers remotely, re-designed look & feel for iOS7, reduced subscriptions costs and access multiple(up to 10) remote computers. Let us understand these features in detail for Version 1.1.0:

Parallels Access iPad App
Earlier users can access only their desktop Mac computer remotely using this iPad remote desktop app. Now, with this recent update users can also access Windows desktop computers too(though this feature was supported in beta version of Parallels Access, but now feature is fully integrated into app). This app is like a direct portal back to your workstation where users can virtually access entire computer desktop including files, applications from your iPad or tablet. In order to achieve this task, you should have Parallels Access app installed on your iPad device and an agent program running on your Windows or Mac desktop PC.

How this app is different from other similar kind of remote desktop apps? You can launch Mac or windows programs like Microsoft office, Photoshop and other many programs without launching full remote desktop environment.

With re-designed look & feel for iOS7, the app now costs you $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year(caution: it is limited time offer) where as earlier users had to pay $79.99 yearly for Parallels Access app, along with that 14-day free trail.

Along with these features, now users are able to connect up to 10 Windows or Mac computer with one subscription(Earlier subscribers could access only one remote computer).

You can download updated version(1.1.0) of Parallels Access app for your iPad from Apple App Store.
